Lean Black Belt Certification
Skills You'll Gain
Prerequisites: Green Belt certification | Project experience required
A 20-day advanced program for experienced practitioners ready to lead complex projects and mentor others. It covers everything in the Green Belt plus the advanced analytical and experimental methods that separate a Black Belt: multi-vari studies, fractional factorial screening designs, advanced regression for correcting failed residuals, and response surface methodology with central composite designs.
What You'll Learn:
- Everything in the Green Belt, plus:
- Multi-vari studies and a full 9-step worked example for isolating sources of variation
- Fractional factorial DOE: design generators, confounding, resolution, and folding
- Advanced regression: outliers, non-linearity, non-constant variance, multiple regression, and diagnostics (autocorrelation, collinearity, best subsets)
- Advanced DOE: RSM foundations, steepest ascent/descent, EVOP, and central composite designs
Who This Is For:
CI managers, senior engineers, and practitioners with Green Belt certification or equivalent project experience. Should have led at least one improvement project.
