e-Learning - Yellow Belt

This course is designed for employees requiring a standardized approach to problem solving for the purpose of continuous improvement. This would include team leaders, supervisors, and associates, which will dedicate a small portion of their time applying the LDMAIC tools to their natural work area.
Overall Course Objectives:
To quickly achieve a major cultural shift in an organization, we recommend training a large percentage of the employee’s in Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.  This training builds a stronger understanding of the LSS process and enables YB’s to better engage in Green and Black Belt projects. Lean YB team members are key resources for GB and BB’s. YB’s generally collect data, participate in projects by adding their expertise to the exploration process.  The general participant may have little or no knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma Methodology. The 14 modules provide a solid foundation of Lean Six Sigma, heightening the awareness of waste in the organization.
Course Materials and Flow:
Participants will learn and be quizzed on the tools used most frequently during a Lean SS project.  There are 14 online modules that have downloadable and printable study guides.  Soft, downloadable reference files are included with each applicable module.  Lastly, each module concludes with a short 8-12 question quiz.  An overall score of 80% is required to complete the course.  Note: There is one re-write available if needed.
